So disappointed in visit this past Friday. My boyfriend and I are weekly customers and love this place . Friday we went and had horrible, rude, unsanitary service and we're just disgusted by the behavior of not one but several employees. The waitress actually set check on my hand. I would love to speak with management.
Food is great. Advertising sucks. Went in response to ad for "Riverboat Special $10.95". Got there to find out that meant catfish only. Asked the waiter if the ad says "catfish only" and he assured me it did. NO IT DOESN'T. We still had the ad at home and if you don't know what the Riverboat Special is you don't know what you're getting. I don't like catfish and ended up spending a lot more than I thought I would. I think I'll move on to Wintzell's. At least you know what you're getting.
Went to dinner at Top O' The River in Guntersville tonight. The greens, cold slaw, and cornbread were perfect as usual. The Catfish dinner was piping hot, cooked golden brown and every bite was delicious. Definately worth the drive to eat there. The food and service were awesome and our server was Kyle C. - Thanks for the great service Kyle.
Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food & excellent service. My favorite restaurant.
