I bought a 2010 VW from this place and was told the vehicle had no issues with the exception of a non working radio. I drove the car home about 60 miles and the check engine light came on. I am fairly certain if you clear a code on a car to shut off the check engine light that it comes back on if the issue persists after 50 miles.. so pretty sure they knew about the code but cleared it.
