If you live in San Francisco and are the owner of a new puppy, I can't recommend the puppy head start program enough. Mike, Michelle, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make sure our brand new bernedoodle puppy, Louie, turned into the best boy. Getting a puppy was a wonderful but stressful adjustment to our lives. If I could give Top Dog 10 stars, I would. My dog is currently enrolled in their puppy Head Start program for pups 8-16 weeks old. It is the only program I know of this kind in the city, and I feel it is money well spent. Puppy trainer Mike is incredibly knowledgeable. It is entirely appropriate to call him a puppy whisperer. We took our puppy Mila to Top Dog for two months of puppy head start and had an excellent experience. Mila is a Lagotto Romagnolo (10 weeks when we started) and can be a bit of a handful, but Mike worked wonders. She's great on leash now and her overall behavior has improved significantly. Mike is always attentive and genuinely cares about the dogs. He even recommended food options that helped resolve some of Mila's stomach issues, which was great.
