We always enjoy going to Top Dog, the guys behind the counter are always so friendly! The dogs are always on point and the selections are amazing!!! definitely reccomend for a quick bite to eat!!
Only the best sausages, buns and condiments are used here. I’ve converted to vegetarianism recently and their veggie dog is great too.

Hot dog heaven .... all beef, or chicken, or Polish, or Bratwurst ... iconically (my word apparently) Berkeley. More cooking space than standing space. No fancy toppings. Same place my husband frequented over 30 years ago when he attended UC Berkeley.
Still love the dogs. Seems like in the last year or two the dogs have shrunk which is sad. I guess I'll have to get two different flavors now.
I have been coming here for 35 plus years , always the same great Hot Dog � at the same hole in the wall location and that is what makes it a Berkeley institution.

If you like grilled dogs this is the place. I would rate this one notch below Caspers. Great grilled hot dogs and Kabelsa and Brats
