She performed emergency surgery on my husband. I truly believe she saved his life. Her specialty is breast cancer surgery, but she happened to be on call for the emergency room that night when my husband was brought in by ambulance. She’s an amazing patient advocate and went to bat for him on more than one occasion during his 40 day hospitalization, keeping him in ICU because of my husband‘s fragile state at the time. The head of scheduling did not call me back for three days after a doctors referral. When she did finally call me back she interrupted what I was saying immediately, did not get the correct information, and completely cut me off. I will never go to this doctor because of the way I was treated and I recommend you don’t either.
I have great confidence in Dr. Toosie. She took great care to explain all the details of my lumpectomy and follow-up. She answered all my questions with great patience and made me feel that I was important to her. A wonderful doctor.
Dr. Toosie is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She also has a heart. She did an excellent job with my mastectomy and follow up and respected my decision to not have reconstruction. I would like to go to her if I ever need surgery again.
Dr Toosie may just be the most competent Dr. in the world working with breast disease and problems. Her knowledge is second to none. She knows and understands what needs to be done and the best way to treat each situation with a custom treatment. Her ability to work with other doctors and facilities is the best. When my wife was being treated I asked most of the facilities about her and they all showed a great deal of respect for her ability.
Before I found Dr Toosie, lost in the unknown! She spent time with me, explained everything! For the first time in almost 4 months since my diagnosis I feel at peace! She’s wonderful! She is a profesional doctor and takes really good care of her patients. She is the best.
A wonderful surgeon
Friendly and chatty doctor who calls patients her "children" but has a chaotic surgical style. Completely messed up the sample she removed via biopsy (said so over the phone the pathologist who analyzed the material she sent to the Lab) and then she unethically sat on my results for 9 days because she "forgot about it" due to problems with partners in her practice.
