Ditto, Honest and Busy: Repeating the description from another reviewer. Classic car shop waiting room, with wood paneling, magazines, a gum ball machine. Sometimes hard to get anyone to smile there, but then, how friendly do you need to be.

Honest and reliable: I started going to Tony's a couple years ago - since then, my 8 year old car never gives me problems. They work quickly, they are honest, they don't talk down to you, and are a community establishment. Their prices are fair and if they can't do it, they will find someone who will. I give them a 5 out of 5.

Honest opinion – Excellence & Honesty: Tony is a master mechanic whose honesty and commitment to his customers is rarely found these days. If you need an honest opinion by an expert for a fair price, go to Tony's Auto Service in Alexandria - it is the best in the Metro area by far. If, however, you want your hand held and to be treated like you are at the theater by a dishonest, clueless, and smiling scoundrel, find another another place - there are plenty of them.

This is the best service station in the D.C. metro area. Best prices, best service and the most honest. I was told by another place my car would cost over $1000 to fix. Tony's fixed it for under $200. They are the best. Highly recommended.

Tony's Auto Service is top notch. They are honest and knowledgeable. I have taken my car there for 10 years. My parents have taken their cars there for 25 years and still do. Great place.

I felt compelled to write about my recent experience at Tony's Auto. I brought my car in for, front brake repair, passenger side tie rod replacement and a steering alignment. The car was ready the same day and the price for all repairs was fair. I quickly realized however that the brakes were making a squeaking noise and the steering wheel was slightly out of alignment. This is the best garage in the metro area period. Best value, best service, expert repairs. There is a reason why people drive hundreds of miles to have their cars serviced at Tony's.... Excellence!! Bravo Tony!
