Love this place, the staff, equipment, classes and the prices. Wish they had a pool / jacuzzi and a wet sauna, but for a town like Tyler it's ok. Def the best one out there at this moment.

I loved this gym - the equipment, classes, and physical gym itself are fantastic. A few months ago the gym had huge turnover and the staff became very unfriendly. They're coming out of their funk, but I think there's some new management and it's starting to feel a little more generic and corporate-run instead of the hometown personal experience I felt when I joined. If you're thinking about making the purchase in online store I would strongly advise you to think again. If you can physically get to the shop and purchase your equipment that might work quite alright. However, even though it said the item will ship within 1-2 days, it took 1.5 WEEKS (!) from the day the order was paid in full to arrange shipping. EVERY day the stuff was saying over the phone that the order will ship "first thing tomorrow". If they would apologize and say that it will ship in a week, I would understand. Just... read more

Just moved to Tyler and am glad I found XTC! I signed up at planet thinking it was a good deal for $20 a month and then I started using their equipment and laughed when the leg press maxed out at 220 lbs. Walked into XTC and spoke with Jacob and he got me a great deal and wad more concerned with me finding a gym I like than taking my money! 5+ stars
