My daughter and I stopped here, was highly recommended by one of the staff from our hotel. Nice spot, relaxing, Barmaids were great, friendly and funny too. We had the nachos, we couldn't finish them just too much for two people but they were great! Next time in New York this stop will be part of our visit!
This is my normal chill spot where i hangout when i have time. The staff seems friendly yes, well some off them but my suggestion is that when you go there are two cool really good bartenders that give you excellent service. Their names are Marcell & Roc. Go there and ask for them. Other bartenders there in my opinion i haven't got good attitude from even at times from just walking in and feeling a vibe that ain't good by their looks.
2nd time going and it was great! Food was great but service not as great as the last time... we got sat at a table close to the door and when I asked what looked to be the male manager if we could be moved as I was cold from the draft he refused, didn't apologise and just shrugged me off... there was other tables we could have moved to and we were planning to stay for the evening to drink as it was also my birthday but because he was so rude we had our amazing food, left a tip for our lovely waitress and left! Tonic is a spot I would recommend to all my face book family because this place is popping.
Food is good and drinks are good BUT, TIKA SINGiING KARAOKE, sheesh, people, its like a free freaking concert. Get there before someone carts her off for real money. If you like good live music go on a Friday eve just for this woman's voice. Trust me, she does not disappoint.
