22yrs ago after a PSA of 4 & a biopsy, the Dr ordered a CT scan to determine if my prostrate cancer had spread. The scan revealed I also had kidney cancer. Both were discovered so early that neither required chemo or radiation.
He has always treated me with respect I have been going to him for over 25 years with no problems
I have been a patient of The Center of Urology at the Culver Road office since 1989. I have seen Dr DiMarco up until his retirement. He is very knowledgeable, professional and I was disappointed to hear he retired. Today I saw Dr Tonetti. He made me feel comfortable and he too is very knowledgeable. The front desk staff is very friendly and professional! They are always polite and helpful on the phone. I would definitely recommend the Center for Urology!
I had an emergency situation, called the emergency line 4 times no help at all just kept saying someone would call back. Ended up at strong for emergency operation. Follow up with Tonetti 3 months later only to find out they dropped me as a patient bc I went to Strong even though I tried to contact them. Also, in 3 month no one called, emailed or sent a letter stating I was being dropped just a nice surprise for me when I show up for an appointment that they never called to cancel either.
Long story below but If you’re in need of a urologist do not go to Dr. Tonetti! Back in November I was scheduled to have lithotripsy, went to the pre op and everything but my body didn’t want to wait. I was in so much pain, I called the emergency line for Tonetti 4 times! First told me to call back in 5 mins when it wasn’t lunch and hung up, second time I explained they said there was nothing they could do bc I’m already scheduled 5 days later, third time I tell them I’m in waiting room of strong west, said they will call dr... read more
Would not know. Messages never returned or not given to PA or DR No Follow up from ultrasound no phone call or any compassion to patients in pain
Always professional, I trust him with following my health and I have a family history that warrants vigilance. You wait a while. I wait a while for an oil change too. Bring a kindle book to read and you’ll get roomed.
VERY long wait; crowded waiting room; lengthy paperwork to fill out even if you were JUST there three weeks ago; doc rudely gave me false cancer diagnosis because he didn't read cytology report correctly. Receptionists announced each person's condition aloud for entire waiting room to hear. Terrible doc and practice. I will never return. No compassion at all. I cannot stress it enough. Please don't go here. These docs are all rushed because patients are being herded in like cattle.
I had very bad a painful experiences prior to going to Dr. Tonetti. I can't express my appreciation for the care I have received for the past four years. He has been a life saver to me!
