This place had great drinks and even better food! I was blown away by the fried shrimp dinner--best Shrimp I have had in YEARS!! Also the low country boil my husband got was so so good as well. The Burgers our friends got were a big hit too! You cannot go wrong with this place.
Food was great! Best coffee I have ever had! Wish I would have asked what kind it was! Our waiter was super AWESOME!! I think his name is Jake?! We will recommend your Tavern for sure!�

Fed was our waiter he was great. We went for dessert and wine. Key lime pie was awesome.

It's an awesome atmosphere with amazing staff!!! We enjoyed every second!! The bartenders are friendly!!
My mom and I decided to eat at Tondee Tavern because they had great reviews about their cheesecakes. We walked into the Tavern and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome from Kasem! Our waiter Alton was awesome from the moment he took our order. Everything he recommended was great including the maple bacon cheesecake, delicious! There's nothing like good old southern hospitality!
The food was so salty that it was almost inedible. Everything was extremely over salted. We definitely will not go back.
I ordered the steak special, while my husband had fish and shrimp. The food was not spectacular, but our waiter, Zach (sp?), was phenomenal. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and we met some really nice people. It's worth a return visit, simply to relax and try something different from the menu. I almost forgot to mention the Mason jar cheesecake...phenomenal!!! :)
