I wish I would of had my eyes done by Dr Starck, instead of going to manriqeeye. I went to see Dr Starck for a second opinion, after dr manrique, totally messed up my eyes. Dr Starck, told me the truth, that with my age, cataract, and stigmatiziam, he would never of done mono (blended) vision on my eyes. Dr Starck said I was not a candidate for that kind of surgery. I’ve worn glasses/contacts my entire life. I finally decided to take the plunge and do Lasik. Dr. Starck and his team have been amazing! Just a day after my surgery I already have 20/15 vision. Dr. Starck is truly the best at what he does and I will forever be grateful.

4 months ago, I was diagnosed with a serious eye infection in my left eye. It was called an acanthamoeba keratitis. I was in extreme pain and my left eye looked scary. Originally, I was getting treated and seen in Dallas by another doctor. Sadly and disappointedly, there was no positive progress at all with this Dallas doctor. I was miserable and felt hopeless with the Dallas doctor. After the new year, I decided to get a second opinion in San Antonio and was referred to Dr. Starck by my mother. Dr. Starck was a godsend! Great experience from start to finish! The entire staff was personable and calming, and made me feel right at home. I highly recommend for LASIK!
