Dr. Perez made my appointment feel rushed. When the appointment time slot was finished I still had a couple questions and he responded "I have other patients" and would not even address my questions or me for all that matters. I was very disappointed with his attitude. He is very entitled and rude. I also have yet to receive any phone call follow ups. I will be seeking a new doctor and will NEVER refer him. There's some that want to help and then there's Dr. Perez.
A scheduled 1 hour outpatient prostate reduction (HoLEP) became a 4 day experience that required 4 separate procedures, 2 General Anesthesia, 3 ER visits, 4 catheter changes and significant blood loss from internal bleeding. There was no follow up - no phone call to check my condition after the procedure - The doctor was not available until the 4th day after surgery. The situation was resolved on the 4th day with cauterization surgery which stopped the internal bleeding.
