I was very impressed not only with the care I received but the credentials of this fine doctor. He was at the Cleveland Clinic prior to coming to Detroit at the Kresge Clinic & teaching at WSUMedical School. My diagnosis was very difficult & unusual but he treated me with kindness & respect & even changed the medication that was making me feel bad. I highly recommend this doctor.
I don’t do a lot of reviews but after reading others here I wanted to add my thoughts of Dr. Tomsak. I thought he was great. He was very nice, explained things to me and asked several times if I had any questions. I have seen quite a few doctors lately, which is how I ended up being referred to Dr. Tomsak. I have waited long periods of time after my appointment time, not asked any questions and made to think I have a serious disease or disorder at various doctors offices. Inaccurate diagnosis, poor bedside matter, and overall patient care is not a priority. I think it's time for him to retire the white coat!
August 2020 I normally do not do reviews; however, I am going to make an exception to the rule in hopes to prevent someone else from making the same mistake I did. Unfortunately, I failed to read the reviews for Dr. Tomsak and relied solely on the recommendation of another eye specialist. I am so disappointed in the medical service (or lack thereof) I received from Dr. Tomsak; not to mention the money spent to only be aggravated with the same eye problems I had prior to seeing him.
