This popular tourist attraction is a bit more famous than your standard diner. The coffee is hot and the food is better-than-average, but that's to be expected in NYC. What sets Tom's Restaurant apart is its pop culture history. This diner, in business since the 1940s, served as the model for the diner on Seinfeld, where the gang spent every day discussing shrinkage, puffy shirts and, you know, "yada yada yada."

Nice diner on Broadway Toms is a great little diner on the corner of Broadway and 112th Streets. You may recognize it as the restaurant used in the show Seinfeld. Aside from this fame, the place is still worth a visit. It is a true, old-school diner in just about every way. The waitresses are matter of fact (perhaps abrasive at times), the prices are cheap, and the food comes very quick. The restaurant isn't enormous, but it's big enough. Cash only. Worth a trip in.
Tom's Restaurant is famous because of Seinfeld. If you're a seinfeld enthusiast and love milk shakes! Tom's is a must! The service is terrible and they barely passed their food inspection, so just keep that in mind.
Broadway shake! This is the place for a) Seinfeld addicts and b) drunk or studied-out students to find great cheese fries and wonderful shakes (the Broadway isn't on the menu, but just ask for it).
Ein muss für Seinfeld Fans
Excellent food and prices no wait. Have been to New York multiple times but never been to the Seinfeld Restaurant will be on my must go to list everytime for now on.
I had the chicken salad on rye bread, untoasted. With a side of potato salad and a cup of tea! It was delicious!
You double dipped the chip! Haha, the kiddos loved their ice cream and pancakes for breakfast on Easter from Tom's.
Tom's uses Seinfeld for self-promotion while promoting terrorism against Jews. Gross.
Just want to say that we have been there when we travel to NYC, but if you don’t support Israel, a land of freedom for all, we won’t support you.
