Took my car in yesterday because it started making a clunking noise , they said it needed two new parts which cost about $500 for parts & labor . Took to another shop today and all it needed was a bolt tightened and the noise stopped right away

There work is OK at best, But the prices are HIGH. They like to keep replacing parks till they get lucky and replace the right one.
Manger al is a scammer. Be careful with dealing with him. The mechanics seem alright but al will scam with any way . I heard him lie to another customer

Just had my car repaired here. I believe the part in question was a timing valve. (I forget the technical term.) Anyway, the dealer wanted over $1,000 for this repair. Tom's did it for less than $200. Aside from saving me a ton of money, I felt like they gave me peace of mind. When I've gone to other repair shops, I felt like they were out to screw me over.
