A Houston favorite since 1988, Tommy's is all about freshness, friendship, and family. Tommy's has been in the Foteh family from the start. We've had several locations in the Houston area over the years -- today we're back to one location on Post Oak. Good food, rude over the phone though... – I've only had a few things off the menu, but what i've had was very good! the fajitas are awesome. the chicken caesar salad wrap is good too. The beer battered fries are to die for. even the lo-cal rice+veggie plate is good. The reason i give it 4 and not 5 stars is because i always order for delivery, and the people on the phone are RUDE! they are either very "short" with you or they sound completely bored and uninterested. Fresh food. This is located inside the Galleria. If you are on your lunch break, make sure if have time to spare. This restaurant only serves fresh food, they make it when you order, not before that's why it might take a while. However I love this place. All of the food tastes so great and fresh, compared to other restaurants in the Galleria. It is reasonably priced too.
very average – while not terrible, not that great either, the only plus was veggies were fresh and order was quick, but very small patty, dry, simple bun, fries tasted like they had been sitting for 30 min, won't go back, not a good value, fast food is better tasting
GREAT ALL AROUND – The food is great. Owner and staff are very freindly. Best place to eat uptown, no question. Try regular burger with bacon, and beer battered fries. WOW!!! food is made fresh and still brought out quick. everything ive tried on the menu is great. They even have a coffee and smoothie bar!
Good Food – The ribeye steak sandwich is awsome. Couple it with some fried mushrooms and its even better. The Service is great and the owner seems to know everybody by name, he is a really nice guy. They also have a huge coffee and juice bar. Its a really cool place.
favorite in uptown – Tommy's still remains the best hamburger in the Houston area. Unfortunate Technip USA moved it's offices way out I10 and we don't get to enjoy a hot loaded Tommy's hamburger any more. Little tip, ask for extra crispy fries they are worth the wait. I also miss the Wednesday spaghetti lunch, great homemade spaghetti sauce (They should bottle that stuff)
