Went to Tomlinson just over a year and a half ago for a head gasket. I take it to a different michanic for an oil leak today and they find that Tomlinson had JB welded the intake manifold together after they had broken it. There was JB weld everywhere. And on top of that, they had chipped the side of the valve cover gasket so bad that I'm surprised it wasn't leaking oil since the day I got it back from them. There were also multiple bols missing. I've been going to Tomlinson for electrical issues and other things and they've always done me right and I've had no issues!
Had an appointmentfor oil change on german car. They had 2 weeks to plan. I was providing the filter amd other parts needed. The were to provide 9 quarts of Mobil 1 oil. I was going to waite for the car since it shouldn't take long. After an hour, I was told they had to send out for "european" oil. The NAPA guy delivered it an hour later. An hour after that they were done. They charged $50 for labor which was OK. They charged $186 ($20.67/qt) for the oil! European Mobil 1 can be had for $7/qt at Walmart.
