Absolutely not!!! Monday morning I went in with a nasty cough and wheezing ! Took 3 hours for the APNP/staff to check me out, order a chest ex ray, have the ex ray, read the ex ray and show me how to use an inhaler and tell me she would give me a prescription for it and discharge me-I ask for an antibiotic (I was miserable !! - no sleep for two nights before) she said no!! RecommendedI have never had a problem with TMH. In fact, I think they are wonderful... starting from front desk personnel all the way up the ladder to the physicians, they are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have had a few radiography and other tests and was pleased with everything. The ER is great, too. I brought in someone I was caring for during the Winter season and, after minor diagnosis, was sent home with a little Care Pack (it was so cute and thoughtful... very helpful when feeling so ill). I went to Tomah Memorial Hospital today to have a hysterectomy. This was my first experience with the hospital. Everyone was very happy, friendly and helpful. All the staff that worked with me were AMAZING! Explained everything to me and continued to check in on me to make sure I didn't have any questions. I would definitely go back if needed! They get 5 stars from me and my husband .
when people come into Urgent Care(regardless of how long of a wait nurses say there is) they should take people3name and reason they want to be seen. Today my husband went in and they didn't take a name or reason he came in but just told him to take a seat the wait was half an hour. Someone who came in after him was waiting by the desk and a nurse came out asked if she'd been seen and took her back. What about the person that's been sitting there waiting? This is the worst hospital I've ever been to, none of the nurses are on the same page ever including the doctor's. What hospital makes you sit in a room for 9 hours without answers or doing the right test the first time... I don't recommend anyone bringing their child or themselves here. Told me it wasn't my child's appendix and the we go to lax to find out sure is. After sitting in tomah for 9 hours without any anwser to going to lax and sit 2 hours and know we were right all along. :(

Unbelievable customer service because I showed up at 830 for a strep test it was coded as an emergency room visit $711 for a 15 minute visit!!! Insurance picked up $161 dollars so still had a bill for $550! Who looks at business hours when they are sick!! I called to dispute and was basically told too bad! Health care needs major help!
