I chose Dr. Stratton for new trifocal eyeglasses awhile ago and called again to see if he could take care of my new, updated prescription. I had eye surgery recently which necessitated a new one. My insurance provider requires a “Vision Exception Request” since I last used coverage for glasses less than 2 years ago. Dr. Stratton informed me his office won’t do it as it’s “a lot of paperwork”. That’s okay, it’s his choice. Be aware of this in advance, however. I am now having to shop around for another optometrist.
Said “no night driving” on my license recommendation so I threw it out and went to Evans eye care instead. This guy is incompetent. Don’t go here for your license eye exam if you don’t have perfect vision.
