Dr Norris permanently disabled me, he did a medical journal article on shoulder replacements and told patients they needed a shoulder replacement when they didn't to suffice numbers for his study. He lied about what my range of motion would be after. I was only 40 years old. Dr. Norris did 8 surgeries on my Rt shoulder beginning in June 2000. I immediately complained as he and his resident at the time Dr. Kelly, failed after a complete shoulder revision and bone graft, to place me in a shoulder immobilizer! Subsequently resulting in another revision which I resisted till forced to go back to him in 2005, by pain and VA Mather. Absolute trash. Didn’t pay attention to us when telling him symptoms. Instead, he was on his phone ignoring us. Made remarks like “that’s the 4th time you’ve asked me what to do”. Unprofessional and overly priced and did not do anything to help a patient in severe pain. Save your money
Best shoulder Dr in the world
I had at least 17 shoulder surgeries with him, 2 on right shoulder 15 on left...still unsuccessful. Had to have left prosthesis finally removed by another doc who happened to be a past fellow of Dr. Norris who had been involved in my earlier cases. He is at another hospital, where I had my prosthesis removed. Love that doc. After my last surgery with Dr. Norris he actually told my husband that they did not have the right size prosthesis in the OR, so used another. Thus another failed surgery.
