Hired Tom. Punctual and professional. Best money I ever spent. I read the other reviews given to the man. I’m going to throw out some ideas in a spirit of helpfulness. Air Conditioning is important in this area. When writing a contract I would HIGHLY recommend a complete HVAC inspection. Appliances are tricky. Hired Tom to perform an inspection on a home I bought blind since I was moving from AZ. My first compliant is minor. He only takes cash or check. Which if you're local, probably isn't an issue. For me working on a closing deadline was an issue because it's not standard practice to give up the inspection prior to getting paid. My realtor got him to give it up but he was reluctant to say the least. Tom came in and identified a few minor things. 1. Dishwasher was broken, the owner new and replaced it. 2. I hired me. Tom and he was very nice. But when I moved in the dishwasher did not work, which he said did. I paid $250.00 for him to do my inspection and he did not catch the broken dishwasher, ice machine or the toilet in the master bedroom did not flush. There was a busted pipe in the yard. I opened my dishwasher to use itforthe first time and there was a cleaning tablet in the bottom. It was not wet or anything. So I called Mr. Tom and asked if it worked for him, he said yes.
