I took my car to *** Orange Park due to a tapping noise and drivetrain error message I was receiving. They diagnosed it as needing a timing chain job and quoted me about $6k. I had the car towed to another shop for a second opinion and they confirmed the timing job was needed. Was fraudulently told I needed a $2300 repair at this business. I took my 2017 440i Gran Coupe in for an oil change and new tires. They claimed my car with 60k miles on in had a front differential oil leak that would take over 9 hours of labor to repair. I decided to get a second opinion somewhere else. Guess what? Zero evidence of a differential leak. ***************************, the worst of the worst. I just got back from picking up my car for an oil change and brake flush. Took the car in Friday and rec'd a loaner. They then send me a proposal for additional work via email and text. I picked additional items, which they "forgot" to do. Then they pointed out a scratch on the car (looks to me like a cart in a parking lot may have hit it). My BMW I purchased with this dealership included a 3 year maintenance plan. When the plan expired I purchased additional 3 year maintenance plan ( I was told by service advisor). When I came back for the scheduled oil change BMW said it was a mistake on the service advisor side that I didn’t purchase the additional maintenance plan I purchased a Refresh plan ?? Be careful of the maintenance plans offered by BMW. I love my car but will not be back.
