Toloache gets its name from a famed Mexican plant, which is an ingredient in love potions. Chef Julian Medina, inspired by his Mexican roots, opened Toloache in the heart of the Theater District. Head there before a show for a fusion of flavors and a wide selection of tequila. The menu is a contemporary take on Latin cuisine. Enjoy suckling pork grilled over the wood-fired oven with one of their exotic margaritas. The decor of hand-painted tiles, vibrant yellow walls and ornate lamps set the perfect scene for your great meal... read more

Loved this place! Definitely recommend. Roger and Marcelo were great!
Great food.very nice staff .
great Always a favorite. The food is nice and also there service is great. The Shrimp Tacos are fantastic and the hongos truffle quesadilla is ridiculous. The management always welcoming and my favorite server Sylvia is the sweetest.
The beef short rib bone marrow tacos were the best tacos I’ve ever had.
Booked reservations online shortly after making plans for a long weekend stay in the city and very glad we did! We were there this evening with two friends. This is our first time and we found it by doing a search for Mexican Restaurants midtown. We were on the second floor which seemed quieter than downstairs yet we had to speak loudly to be heard. I thought it would be less crowded on a Tuesday night. The menu offers many varieties of food and it is well prepared. The Marguerita’s are delicious and the service excellent.
Every time I’m in nyc I make sure to stop in!!
Delicious! I can't wait to go back!
