Okay Sushi – Definitely not the best sushi in town. Azuma wins handsdown. However, for the value this is a great place for your sushi fix. Great variety. Interesting house creations like the Crunch Roll and Volcanoe take you away from the mundane. Small and cozy environment. Be prepare to be rubbing elbows with other patrons (literally).
Best japanese ever – I don't eat sushi, but I LOVE this place. The chicken yakisoba and katsu are the BEST chicken dishes I have ever had. Yes, it is a little small and cramped but well worth it. We eat here at least once weekly.
The best sushi – I love this place. Ever since I found it, I can't find better sushi anywhere!!. Try the Crunch roll it is THE best!!!
My favorite local place – Up until my first experience at Tokyo Bowl have I ever been able to answer the question, "what is your favorite restaurant?". This IS my favorite restaurant, as well as my favorite place to eat sushi. I remember trying sushi at a buffet place 3 years ago. Up until 6 months ago, I had not touched sushi anywhere since. Best Sushi in Houston – My favorite sushi place. Although ordering from the sushi bar takes longer than some places, it is worth the wait. The staff is friendly and prompt to attend to all other needs. The food is unbeatable. Delicious and original. The perfect place to introduce a newbie to the wonderful world of sushi!
Best Kept Secret in The Bay Area! – Excellent sushi and great service made me a sushi-goer! Never thought of touching the stuff and now since Tokyo Bowl...I can't get enough of it. Don't let the small cramped dining area and wait discourage you! It is well worth the wait and occasionally bumping elbows with your table neighbor! If you remotely like sushi, this place will make you a lover!
Martin – This place can easily compete with any trendy sushi bar in town. But it skips all the fancy crap and focuses on food quality and service. It's the best sushi I ever had and the service is extremely fast. The downside is that it's a small place and it's hard to beat the crowd. At least that's a good sign!!
great sushi here! – I haven't tried other dishes besides sushi and sashimi, but they have consistently good sushi. I've had sushi in Tokyo, Taiwan, and Vancouver and this place can definitely holds its own. Simply put, this is a great place for great sushi at an affordable price.
