We don't go to new places a lot but we tried Toki Underground on a recommendation from our neighbors. This is probably the best meal I've had since Little Donnas opened. This is a real hidden gem of Baltimore. Outstanding everything, we must have ordered half the menu to try as much as we could. Everything was delicious.
Had mushroom Raman thing. Very bright flavors. Portobellos just amazing. Kept relatively laye hours (Saturday, closed at 10) Prices reasonable. You feel good after eating there.beer was outstanding.
Toki has a very solid Happy Hour! During the week I believe its from open (5pm) until 6:30pm. I recommend visiting during this time to get the most bang for your buck, as basically every food/drink item on the menu is discounted. The lychee martini was my drink of choice, and you can’t go wrong with either fried chicken starters. The karaage might be my favorite but the wings offer a nice sweet & spicy option.
