What a rude, insensitive, uncaring, unknowledgeable, sorry excuse for a “doctor.” Especially a psychiatrist, at that!! I’d be curious to know how many of his patients “unalived” themselves due to his complete lack of compassion and unprofessionalism. He doesn’t know the first thing about the disease of addiction, and instead bullies any of his patients who struggle with it. Incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe him. I cannot believe he still has a license!
Dr Vitaz quickly identified a problem that had been causing me pain and suffering for year. Clear explains the problem and solution in layman’s terms and treated me with respect and concern.
Russell is the best physician I've ever been to. He tells you the truth and educates you on why and how he comes to the diagnoses or conclusions he has. I've seen comments about him saying they were insulted if he said something about losing weight. I lost 40 lbs after realizing the significance of what that weight meant and why I was feeling the way I was. I feel the best I ever have now and Russell is a big reason why.
I have been seeing Dr. Grof for 7 years. Before seeing him I saw numerous neurologists in Atlanta and St Louis. I met him briefly and yes his intelligence can come off as arrogant sometimes, but the man was able to diagnose the root of my migraines. He described what they felt like and its progression in my body over the last 15 years of chronic pain. His intelligence gave me my life back and I was able to get off many of my medications. He was my husbands esophageal cancer surgeon, he is a fantastic surgeon and very nice man.
Doctor vitez Has done 3 Craniotomys. I went to Russ Dempsey for a pre-op EKG. Rather than review my EKG he proceeded to humiliate me about my weight. I suffer with depression and self esteem anyway and I left feeling so demeaned and embarrassed. I will never go back.
