History: I've had two lower back surgeries with Dr. McCall over an eight year period. I sustained extensive damage to my lower back while serving a very uptempo twenty year career in the US Army. My most recent Lumbar interbody fusion surgery with pedicle screws at lumbar 3/4 was on 8 January 2025. Dr. McCall is an exceptional surgeon. I suffered from a failed spinal fusion for four years. Two years ago I saw Dr. McCall and he had indicated that I needed a second fusion. So, I agreed. I was so bad that I could not stand for more than 90 seconds without pain so severe that I had to sit down. I got immediate relief after the second surgery. I play golf four times a week and walk 10,000 steps most days, and with minimal pain. I can stand for two hours with no pain.
