I asked for help consolidating my debt with a home equity loan. I had to keep after them asking if they would be servicing the loan as I steeped deeper into debt. I was given full assurance that would be the case repeatedly. Then fast forward, and they are sell the loan to a company I have never heard of. I logged in online to see why my autopayment had not gone through yet and was told via chat that my loan was sold and "a goodbye letter had been mailed out." I was rattled. I called the new company and they seem equally awful. I asked about my monthly payment, which I like to pay on the 1st of the month, and they told me to "hold on to my funds" until they received the loan info from this company because they had nothing yet. I would give zero stars if I could. My loan got sold to this company and it's been a nightmare. I had my home insurance switched mid year and so I had 2 insurnace payments paid out. I paid in advance to pay for my insurance and they took my money and wrote my escrow as a loss and increased my payments, Then the next year, they took 6 months to finally approve my new insurance declaration, so what they did during that time was they combined my two insurance payments from the previous year and said that was my new projection a... read more

Full on lied to my face during refinance. Asked if they would be servicing the loan, and was given full assurance that would be the case. Skip forward and they are selling the loan to a company I have never heard of. Take anything they tell you during the process with a grain of salt and get it in writing, because they have no qualms about flat out lying to get you in the door.

I always give my check many weeks to get to them. They must not check their PO Box because even after giving my check over 20 days to get to them, they can't seem to send it through the bank until the day after it is due, thus charging me a late fee. I am not impressed. I guess I will have to find their physical address and start sending the check overnight so they will have to sign for it.

I would not suggest this company to anyone. Most especially anyone who is on a very tight budget or in any vulnerable situation. I have read many accounts of escrow problems and skyrocketing payments. This is what happened to me. One spouse was a month or two away from no debt and very good credit. Our loan officer said just get the mortgage. Put up with high payments for a year. Then we could refinance and get a lower payment and everything would be grand. I can’t say enough about Team Turner at union home mortgage. Greg and his team started our loan application and promised to have it closed in two weeks and they did just that. I never had to wonder how things were going because I received calls giving me updates daily i never had to call them to find out anything so I highly recommend team TURNER at UHM. Thank you again for everything that you did for us .
