My family has three homes in *** *****. All three are over a million dollars, all three have septic systems. The agent ( Mark Citsay ) that sold this policy to my elderly parents would have known this. A recent issue at one of the homes involving the septic system has been deemed “ not covered “ although secondary damage was done to my home. The worst! We have used State Farm for over 20 yrs (in our current and former home) and never had a claim until 6 months ago when a portion of our dining room ceiling caved in from a torrential rain. The claim was rejected twice because there was some black mold and rot in the wood. They stated it was chronic leak related to wear and tear despite the fact we had documentation (from a roofer) that ice and weather caused the leak. state farm was my insurance company. I was hit by a woman that made an illegal turn. She ended up telling the police officer that she was coming from a totally different direction. I was cited for careless driving. When I called state farm, the referred me to a "fraud division"(because the woman lied),. Kim waters was the person the handled the claim. Google review 2 weeks ago - I’m very disappointed in the lack of concern Jason Farkas has for his clients. I’ve had to battle for now 6 months just to get my account correct and it’s still not resolved. He has never even reached out lol. I’m hoping this helps, I’ve already made 4 complaints against this agency in 5 months. Let’s start November 2021 one of my cars was totaled from an accident, I filed the claim with State Farm. I have a Atlas roof on my house and a lot of wind and hail damage from the stroms that we have had and State Fam wants to only pay to replace 125 shingles. The adjuster told me that all the shingles were lose and they will come of also. The biggest problem is that the roofing that is one there can not be matched with any brand on the market because Atlas is smaller in size than the new roofing today and the color will not match, I need a new roof with all the damage and not a patch job that can be seen from the road

I WAS RECENTLY IN AN ACCIDENT NOT AT FAULT, AND STATE FARM SAID THE AT FAULT PARTY DOESN’T HAVE TO PAY A DIME! I WORKED AT STATE FARM SO I KNOW HOW THE CLAIMS PROCESS SHOULD BE, BUT MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN HORRIBLE! THEY TOLD ME I HAVE TO MAKE ALL THE PHONE CALLS! IM ALREADY SHAKEN UP FROM THE ACCIDENT AND THIS MADE ME FEEL WORST! I WILL BE SWITCHING! JUST KNOW THAT IF YOU HAVE A POLICY WITH STATE FARM AND YOU’RE IN AN ACCIDENT YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY EVEN IF THE OTHER PARTY IS AT FAULT!

Multiple issues with this company over the past few years and recently. Canceling insurance on all vehicles because issues with fund transfer, no verbal notice. Stuck on highway for 8 hours waiting on tow in normal weather conditions. Wrong dispatch location for tow after multiple calls addressing the issue. Damage to personal property not being covered by auto insurance after crash, was told to submit photos and receipts with claim number, then was told to file claim under my homeowners insurance policy. $500.00 deductible ... read more

They screwed me over after they accepted 100% liability when their customer totaled my car. Terrible claims process, terrible customer service, terrible experience all around. Would not compensate me for the actual value of my car. I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not recommend ever working with them in any way

State farm are crooks. They have no loyalty to their long term customers. What a coincidence. The governor gives us a rebated check, which I have yet to receive. And state farm increases my insurance. no accidents, no tickets nothing!
