Last year I tore my bicep and saw Dr. Atkinson in Fort Myers. I met with him on a Friday, and he had me in surgery the following Monday because he knew timing mattered. His physical therapy team was outstanding (thank you Chris and Dana!) and played a huge role in helping me get back to myself. Dr. Atkinson and his entire team truly care about their patients. I'm extremely grateful. God bless our surgeons and physical therapists.

Great experience with Dr. Atkinson compared with another local practice where I had shoulder surgery. His staff and physical therapists are top notch.

I was referred to Dr. Atkinson by my primary doctor. Being from up north, I did not have any previous connections. The treatment I received was outstanding, not only by the very caring surgeon, but the entire staff. Everything was scheduled and taken care of without any glitches or problems. Having moved here in 2019 from Boston and Having a lot of orthopedic surgery for many years. By the time I saw Dr Atkinson I was unable to move my left shoulder. I had prior surgery on both shoulders years ago. Dr. Atkinson has devoted his life to shoulders and it shows. He did a total shoulder replacement last May and following his rehab plan it is perfectly fine.. In fact it went so well he did another surgery on my hand since and that is perfectly fine. I don't think id go anywhere else.
