I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Atkinson, his staff, and his physical therapy department at the Nicholas Parkway location. I had a total knee replacement back in December 2025 and they have been so supportive and helpful throughout this four month process. Whenever I had a question or concern, or even if I just needed to talk, they were there helping and listening and encouraging all the time! Office in clean, personnel are very pleasant and efficient. Doctor Atkinson is funny, pleasant and great physician.
Dr Atkinson is an amazing surgeon, he did shoulder and total knee replacement on my husband with great success. So when I was having shoulder trouble it was a no brainer to have Dr. Atkinson as my doctor. He did an amazing job on my shoulder. His staff and therapy team are simply the best. Like Dr Atkinson they are very caring and professional.
Wanted to take a minute and give a shout out to Dr Atkinson and his practice. I’m new to Florida and needed to see a doctor about a bad shoulder. It was a good day when I was referred to Dr. Atkinson. My shoulder surgery is behind me and now it’s just lots of physical therapy. The physical therapy team(Ed and Louise) made therapy fun. Thanks for everything!
Last year I tore my bicep and saw Dr. Atkinson in Fort Myers. I met with him on a Friday, and he had me in surgery the following Monday because he knew timing mattered. His physical therapy team was outstanding (thank you Chris and Dana!) and played a huge role in helping me get back to myself. Dr. Atkinson and his entire team truly care about their patients.
