In 2022 Dr. Atkinson replaced my right shoulder, the procedure went perfect, I followed his advice what to do and what not to do and had a very early recovery. The incision is darn near invisible and today I have complete and total movement and no loss of strength. Hurricane Ian delayed the replacement of my left shoulder to this year. Dr Atkinson is amazing. He gave me total attention during the office visits. He replaced my shoulder 2 years ago. Absolutely feels wonderful. This year he replaced my knee. Had only 2 visits to outpatient therapy because I was doing so well. Was out dancing 4 weeks after surgery. Just amazing
A lifetime of sports and related injuries left me with a torn rotator cuff as well as various shoulder malformations such that simple pleasures like swimming, golf, tennis, were impossible without enduring debilitating pain. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Atkinson and his staff! I was referred to Dr Atkinson by my primary care physician, Dr. Ralph Tucker, after messing my shoulder up trying to break a fall. Dr. Atkinson was very friendly and genuinely concerned about my injury. After reviewing my MRI results he confirmed my suspicion, I had messed my shoulder up pretty bad. From the first appointment through surgery and now therapy, my experience with Dr. Todd Atkinson and his staff has been the best. Professional and caring--never feel rushed. The surgery went far better than I thought it would and am pleased with how well the "scar" has healed. The physical therapist I am working with, Chris, is amazing. A great team of professionals led by Dr. Todd--who is a caring, dedicated doctor putting his patients first.
