My father has been here twice for his atrial fibrillation episodes in the emergency department. Both times, nursing staff and doctors were attentive to his needs. Triage is quick. During the most recent visit (tonight), Doctor McCarrell was straight to the point with her care and made the experience less stressful for my family. She was open to our questions and constantly checked up on my father while completing the needed procedures. I have a history of back problems for the majority of my life and when I went in for severe back pain today feeling like a disc had slipped and they sent me home with a muscle relaxant even though I had taken a muscle relaxant the night before trying to get relief with none. I had to beg for a shot of Toradol and that didn't even work. I should have been sent for Imaging to see what had changed and they really couldn't care less. I will never go back here. Normally, when I have been to TMC Rincon I've had great experiences with the doctors. Yesterday, I brought in my grandma who has been dealing with some health issues. She was very worried and concerned and following the doctors orders from Monday to come back in if any symptoms persist. Dr. Brodrick came in pretty quickly, however her attitude was very rude and dismissive. As a worried granddaughter, listening to the way she was speaking to my grandmother very much upset me.
