great people and they do great work
Was the only nail salon I went to here in Manitowoc. After my experience today, I will never go again. The “owner” basically cut my toenail so much, I have a half one left, and the other big toe was gushing blood bc she dug in so deep. I was in complete shock. She got done, said thank you and was hidden the rest of time. When it came time to pay, of course she was MIA. Against my better judgement, instead of just walking out, I paid my $25. Waited over an hour wit feee in cold water. Mom and I came right at open and it took 2 1/2 hours for two pedicures.
Although I have been going there for years now, but for some reason it has changed. It’s nasty looking and Kim who usually does my nails doesn’t do a very good job. The last four times I had her to do my nails and I had new set put on, she would cut them way down to almost nothing. Why get nails put on and then be cut to a nub?! All she would say is “It will grow back” and pat my hand. Just stupid in having to pay for something and NOT to get what I / you want. So now I am going to someone else. Every time I go, the place gets more run down. The chairs are worn, the massage chairs don’t work, the overall appearance looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. They use the same nail equipment on everyone and just wash it off at the back sink. I specifically made an appointment and still had to wait for an hour, yet the continued to take walk ins. This is my last time going there.
