I would like to thank Todd and his team for the stress free renovation. We recently renovated the bottom floor of our 120 yr old terrace in Surry Hills installing a new kitchen and restoring the living areas to their former glory. Renovating a house this old is a bit like opening a can of worms but we were more than happy with the result and the project came within budget. A special thank you to Shaun the supervisor on site who was more than accommodating at troubleshooting the various issues that arose .
We purchased from the prior owners who contracted TL Building. After initial good and efficient service in fixing defects we identified the builder has refused to communicate about other faults and examples of poor quality workmanship . We have identified numerous examples such as painted timber rotting less than two years after being painted. And hybrid floor boards bouncing and even retracting in places leaving ‘gaps’ .
