Formerly operated as KC's Steaks and Seafood, TJ's Steakhouse is the product of a combination of two of Big Spring's most beloved restaurants. We've merged the best selections from the menus of Brenda's Hilltop Cafe and KC's and managed to squeeze in some of TJ's own specialities.

We were so excited for this place. Unfortunately we left very disappointed and this was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time at a restaurant. When we got there 1st impression was it was very nice very warm looking and overall homey. But then it went all downhill from there. Our waitress was very nice. Drinks were good and service was fast. The staff is totally awesome. Great customer service. The food...WOW. The first nite I had the pork chop special. The pork was juicy and tender, the mashed potatoes with cream gravy, yummy, the green beans, mmmmm. Big portions. The second nite I had lemon pepper chicken wings, soooooo good. The crack dip, oh my goodness so delicious. Can’t wait for tomorrow nite. Totally recommend
Stake sucked!!! Service was great !! And the starters were good but nothing else was!!
This is one of the best steak houses I have eaten at in a long time they have great food, excellent service, and always puts the customers first. If you have not ate here yet you need to I will be returning again. thanks
Eat there on a Saturday afternoon when they first opened main dining area was very clean. I ordered the Weekend Steak T-Bone, Sweet Potato fries and green beans, was very disappointed to find out the Steak was about 1/4 inch thick unseasoned and appeared to have been cooked on a flat grill top, green beans were as cold as if they were served straight out of the can and but heated. Appetizer queso was cold and even after asking that it be heated in the microwave it wasn’t hot. Sorry TJ’s but this family will not be back.
