About this business

Do not mistake Tito's Restaurant's rather drab looks for a dull meal. It may be a typical hole-in-the-wall joint, but it does impress with classic Mexican fare in a relaxed setting. Located on the bustling neighborhood of Southtown, Tito's has redefined the local favorite Tex Mex cuisine. Menu specials include crispy beef tacos and chipotle cream chicken enchiladas. All preparations are served with tortillas, beans and rice. It also serves some of the most piquant fajitas in town. Prices are just right and the portions never... read more

I was not impressed with the service or the food or the bathrooms. We ordered tortilla soup, burger with fries and steak quesadillas. Positive was that you could tell the quality of the ingredients they use is good.

GREAT Downtown Breakfast – Went to Tito's on Saturday morning and ate the Pork ala Mexicana breakfast taco. Is was out of this world. It was so good that my wife and I went back on Sunday. She loved her bean, egg, and cheese taco. Breakfast downtown for less than $10.

Luv luv luv the chicken enchiladas – Went for a late breakfast but they weren't serving past eleven, so I tried a few a la carte items. Amazing green chicken enchiladas with the most exquisite cream sauce I have tasted in a while. The refried beans in the bean in cheese were just right, not to runny and not too stiff. Flour tortillas were just this side of thick and cooked to perfection as well, no scorch marks and not raw. Green salsa was great with a kick that sneaks up on you. Red salsa good as well. Chicken fajitas passa... read more

Not Good!!! – On Valentine's Day, I took my wife out for brunch and found every place packed but Titos. We had eaten there on First Friday and the food was kind of good, so we thought, why not. Boy what a bad choice. First you couldn't get a waitress to wait on our table - 4 waitresses and only maybe 8 tables full. Next the coffee came with the milk in a little styrofoam cup - lukewarm coffee. We had to make a stink just to get another cup of coffee as the waitresses were talking to their freinds. Things got worse when the f... read more

I do NOT recommend!! – A friend and I went to try this place out. It started out well, were seated right away, service was good and the place was full. We ordered our food and the waitress refilled our tea. My friend doesn't like limes so she was removing one from her tea. Along with the lime came a HUGE slimy insect! I called the waitress over to show her and she said not to worry, she'd get us new tea... I told her that we didn't want new tea or our food but that we were going to leave - and we did!

Good if you like eating egg shells – The tortillas are pretty good and if you are looking for breakfast tacos then most of them are ok. Carne guisada is good but on 2 occasions I found egg shells in my potatoe and egg tacos. There are too many good taco houses in the city to eat at one that serves egg shells.

Visitor or resident, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH TITO'S!!! – Tito's has been mine and my husband's favorite Mexican restaurant since we moved here 2 years ago. The food is absolutely amazing, and quickly became my comfort food. Everything from their breakfast tacos and plates, to the unique dinner menu, there is always an old favorite or something new to try. This restaurant is family owned and you will see the same staff every time you go, no matter what time of day. Definitely skip Rosario's (a mexican joint a little ways down... read more

Your Waitress was excellent, explaining the menu, checking on us, and very friendly! – The menu has lots of choices and some unique items like the cilantro cream chicken enchilldas (Excellent). Hand made Gordita's and the rice was also outstanding. Definitely a place to try and keep coming back to!
