My name is Elizabeth Hayes. I lived in Rosemont, Berkeley, in apartment 4310 for some time, and I left because I discovered my husband was cheating on me with the leasing manager here. I believe her name is Maria, based on what I found on my husband's cell phone, including photos and messages between them. I'm sharing this information because I decided to speak out, since this office never did anything about employees getting involved with residents and damaging a family like mine.
Oh what do ya know, another corporate greed bs company taking full advantage of the common man. Fees upon fees - I have to give them credit for the creativity when thinking up new ridiculous fees to charge each tenant. For a single month of rent, there were ELEVEN different fees tacked on to my monthly rent - almost double what was promised during my lease signing. A fee to pay fees? you betcha. These greedy corporations desperately need more government regulation. Why do we let them get away with this???
I lived at Rosemont Chamblee for 3 years, never missed a rent payment, and was even offered incentives to stay — clear proof that I was a good tenant. Despite that, they kept my $250 deposit, added unfair charges, and sent the balance to collections. Maintenance issues were constant, including a ceiling stain from a water leak that was never repaired. They also charge for every small item after move-out, ignoring Georgia’s laws on normal wear and tear. I warn everyone — please don’t rent here! You’ll be disappointed.
