Ordered gas 2/19 was told it was 7 to 10 days for delivery, was at 10 to 12% then called after 9 days was then told its 10 to 14 days for delivery so waited it came to the 14 day mark and was told they would call back after they could talk to the manager to see what to do about it because i wasnt even on the delivery list no one called back. If I could give this company no stars I would. Called and ordered 100 gallons one month ago. They delivered 280 gallons which resulted in astronomical bill. Called immediately to have the excess taken out of the tank and the bill adjusted. Was told it would be done within 10 days. One month later it has not been done. Now receiving bill due and I'm sure late charges will be assessed. Have called and been on hold for over 40 minutes several times only to be told that they would be out to correct the issue. Nothing! On Feb 17 2021, I placed an automated phone order for a propane MAX FILL (250+ gallons). My tank gauge indicated 30% remaining (AmeriGas suggested call for refill point). Their order confirmation number showed in my online account and would be delivered on or before Mar 3. My home area had experienced NO bad weather and the roads were/are clear and dry. Their business model is based on long holds on the telephone, different answers from each person you talk to and not showing up for appointments. I called Amerigas to set up a site survey for a little Forest Service cabin on Mt Hood in Oregon. The first person I spoke with seemed very friendly, gave me lots of information, set up an site visit appointment for them to meet with my contractor, took his number and told me "you're all set". Amerigas is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I finally canceled service on January 19th and I'm still waiting to have my tank picked up and a refunded of the balance in my account. Every time I call I am on hold for 1 or 2 hours and then the customer service reps never seem to be able to solve the problem and the only way they can get ahold of their supervisors is by email so it's an endless cycle of nobody solving the problem. I would never recommend this company to anyone. There are so many better propane companie... read more

This company is a joke. Anytime, I have dealt with them it has been a nightmare and I am on hold for at least an hour then get transferred to be hung up on. I had a possible gas leak and it took them 4 days to get out to me, it was during the coldest below zero days we had this winter, keep that in mind.(I also have a child in the house) Then they over charged me twice $922.62 from account and would not give me money back said they was going to keep it as a credit on my account. this company should be investigated for fraudulant activites. similar to other reviews. paid for propane 3 weeks ago, everytime i call back, they lie and say it is being delivered in "the next 24 hours". based on the number of poor reviews with similar situations - this company should not be in business.

Called America’s on 3/3 &3/4 to get a delivery of propane. Was told we were on a will call. We were always on a automatic delivery. We weee told it would be here on 3/5- NEVER CAME- truck came down street and went right past house. We called again on 3/5 was told it would be delivered. I called on 3/6 and was told it would be delivered by 5pm. NEVER GOT PROPANE DELIVERED- IT WAS TO BE AN EMERGENCY DELIVERY.
