Dr. Tishon is efficient, yet thorough, and takes care to explain (more than once if needed) the medical issues presented. She then takes time to discuss the reason for her recommendations. I have been a patient of hers for approximately 2 years.
Great Doctor! There seems to be a disconnect from the administrative and appointment desk but Dr. Tishon is everything I expect in a doctor.

Great doctor! Listens to me but I must say that I always have my questions written down and ready to go. I do not have to waste time thinking about what I want to ask. Would recommend her and the center. Well trained staff as well!

This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered.
She would not listen to me when I told her that I had IBSD for over 30 years. She was fixated on me quitting Paxil because she was so sure that was the cause. You never tell a patient to get off antidepressants especially if you were not the one who prescribed.
I am a patient (not staff, good friend or relation). Doctor Tishon is an outstanding physician. One of the best I have ever dealt with (I am 76 years old). She is patient and really listens to my concerns. She is has excellent knowledge of anything to do with your digestive system and talks to you, not down to you. For the bad reviews listed here I can only say they are for a Dr. Tishon that I have never met.
Dr. Tishon is a careful, caring person who really knows her field. I never feel rushed by her or embarrassed to discuss whatever problems I might have. She has performed several gastro procedures (upper and lower) on me over the past three years and I have never been treated better. I recommend her to anyone with any type of digestive problems.
My experience with Dr. Tishon is all good. Her communication style is to listen well, discuss the condition, treatment, etc. She always asks if I have any questions or concerns. After my colonoscopy, her follow up was excellent. She solved my problems and I feel comfortable recommending her. The office wait was reasonable (not long at all). The support staff was friendly and caring.
The first two reviews here are obviously from the practice to bump the average. It's hard to rate this doctor as she seems aloof and does not say much when asked a question. Scheduled Colonoscopy was 45 minutes late.
