Great Doctor! There seems to be a disconnect from the administrative and appointment desk but Dr. Tishon is everything I expect in a doctor.

Great doctor! Listens to me but I must say that I always have my questions written down and ready to go. I do not have to waste time thinking about what I want to ask. Would recommend her and the center. Well trained staff as well!

She would not listen to me when I told her that I had IBSD for over 30 years. She was fixated on me quitting Paxil because she was so sure that was the cause. You never tell a patient to get off antidepressants especially if you were not the one who prescribed.
I am a patient (not staff, good friend or relation). Doctor Tishon is an outstanding physician. One of the best I have ever dealt with (I am 76 years old). She is patient and really listens to my concerns. She is has excellent knowledge of anything to do with your digestive system and talks to you, not down to you. For the bad reviews listed here I can only say they are for a Dr. Tishon that I have never met.
The first two reviews here are obviously from the practice to bump the average. It's hard to rate this doctor as she seems aloof and does not say much when asked a question. Scheduled Colonoscopy was 45 minutes late.
HORRIBLE! This doctor saw my mother almost two months ago. My mother is STILL waiting for a call back to schedule a colonoscopy. Everytime I call I have to explain OVER and OVER again why I'm calling (on behalf of my mother). I finally have the colonoscopy scheduled, and am not quite certain I can put any confidence in this doctor to actually perform the procedure properly. This is a shame. The most rude doctor I have ever encountered. When I dared to ask a question I was promptly cut off and told to let her be the doctor and she left after waiting 1.5 hrs to see her I got 2.5 minutes of her time. I would not recommend her she seems to give a careless about patients health and concerns.
Displays no bedside manner, she's rude, unwilling to listen & very disrespectful of her patients, even the nurses were unhappy with how she presented herself & the facility they represent. I had to beg the staff to not let me be left alone with her especially if I was medicated or sedated. I've never been treated so poorly by any medical staff.
