Can't say enough good things about the nursing staff here. The doctor we had was just okay, flip-flopping on her words and not following through with her statements. When you say you're going to fight to keep a patient by speaking with insurance and then us finding out she didn't even try was quite a disappointment. TIRR, is where I did my rehabilitation after my fatal car accident, when my oldest brother died. This was Christmas Day of 1981and my brother died on April 1st of 1982. When I was transferred to TIRR, I was only 15 years old and just woke up out of my closed TBI - traumatic head injury 🤕. I was a model for TIRR in the Texas Medical magazine and was praised for my artwork. I learned how to drive with hand controls their in Downtown Houston and exercise with long leg braces. Chuck in the kitchen is AMAZING . I came her last year in 2024 & i was in a verrrry dark space in life . I love him so much , it's easy to say someone makes you smile for the moment . But Chuck is just a ray of sunshine & he's so easy to open up & talk to. Although he works in the kitchen he's very helpful & sweet .If you ever get the chance stop by the kitchen , he cooks your food soooo good . & he keeps a good spirit no matter your circumstances he ALWAYS has time to talk & give you hope .
