Took my van in to have the back tire fixed and they told me that they couldn't fix it because the Dept of Transportation wouldn't allow it. They said I needed four new tires. The front two were only four months old and I had purchased them from the very same Tires Plus! How could they have gone bad in four months? Then they also told me my brakes were bad. I searched all over the entire san francisco area for good used tires to put on my work truck,and this was my last option on the internet.I called everywhere for my truck tire size and no one had them in stock,i called gave them my tire size and they confirmed they had my tires drove there and they had three people including the supervisor change out all four tires balanced and mounted within 25 minutes like they quoted over the phone. I went in to get a plug put in my grandmother car with her, we spoke with Scott the service Mgr who was very rude and obnoxious. He insisted we buy new tire and kept hounding us. We had another worker who we forgot his name pull us aside and said he doesn't like the way Scott treats older customers and he put plug in tire without any problems. I will never go back to tires plus and I hope you never do to be treated in that manor.
The beginning of December 2015 I went to Tires Plus in Spring Hill, FL. I took my BMW in for an oil change. A few days later my husband is getting ready to go pick up family from airport and oil light and check engine light both go on (coincidence, I don't think so) he checks oil, and its EMPTY!!! after only days since oil change and now curiously car is shaking, but it was 8 PM and we had to pick up family from airport, so we put oil in the car and left to pick up family. I just have to rave about the awesome service we received from store manager, Anthony Ramey. We were having trouble with our tires on our drive home to Illinois from Alabama. We stopped at the nearest tire place and arrived at around 5 pm, an hour before closing time. They had several other customers ahead of us but still worked on our car which took them an hour and a half past closing time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! This place is horrible! The owner sold my 76 year old mother 3 small used tires for approximately $150! 1 was flat within 2 days she went back and he "fixed" it and it went flat again and could not be fixed. He refused to do anything about it or even talk to us. They will take advantage of people that are easy targets.
Good service to me over the past few years. Honest in estimates (ie have told me my brakes didn't need to be replaced yet).
Love this place. They serviced my truck for many years, repairs, oil changes, tires and the like. Always professional and super nice guys.
Never had a problem in 10+ years. On more than one occasion they've actually told us a potentially expensive repair might be covered by the warranty. They've also told us that a repair that could be expensive is actually much less, when they could have charged a lot more. They are always very busy, so I'm sure they simply don't need to resort to scams. If there's a coupon or special promotion available they'll tell us even if we haven't asked. I've never had a reason to suspect them of anything dishonest or unethical…
