Son bought a 4wd truck with a bad transmission and Tipton county Transmission put in a rebuilt one for him with 1 year unlimited mileage warranty. They had it one week. All was good for 3 months then it started shiftimg very hard. 8 months lates it started slipping really badly. My son's transmission went out on his 1996 Oldsmobile 88. He took it to Tipton County Transmission on April 12, 2014. He was told it would be ready on Wednesday April 16. That date was pushed back to Saturday April 19, 2014. He went to Tipton County Transmission picked his car up drove it home to Ripley TN and the car hasn't moved since.
