It’s like walking into an alternative reality where they are trying to get bad reviews. When I walked in, there were four people working. Each was a comic book character. One was “iPhone Teenager Girl,” a superhero who has become one with her cell phone and cannot even look up from behind the counter. The pedicure I received was wonderful, and I have nothing but kind things to say about the staff. Unfortunately, the owner sounds like he might be bad news. I tried to pay for my pedicure and their Apple Pay wasn’t working. The staff called the owner to ask what to do, since I don’t have Zelle and did not bring my cards. I offered to come back tomorrow to pay, and he right away got angry and said, “No, you gonna pay tonight” in a threatening tone. I started laughing — is he falsely trying to imprison me?
