This is a character reference and commendation for Lon Nelson and Tip Top Roofing. In May, 2020 Lon replaced the entire roof, flat roof, and the underlying water-damaged wood at my motherâ s home in Tamarac, Florida. We interviewed and received estimates from three roofing companies. We found Lon to be honest, reliable, and fairly priced. Owner Lon was very professional and knowledgeable. Crew does great work in a timely manner and was very clean/organized. Well worth the price and highly recommended.

Mid-level priced but worth it for the value. Nelson was very responsive and dependable. I called 7 roofing companies and they responded first! And performed in a timely manner. I had a small leak in my roof over the summer, no leaks yet so work must have been done right.
Do not use this company. Buyers beware. Shoddy work and horrible customer service.
AWFUL COMPANY! DO NOT USE! THEY REPAIRED MY PARENTS ROOF AND RUINED THEIR UPSTAIRS HURRICANE SHUTTER FRAMING AMD WHEN WE CALLED, THE OWNER STATED, "ITS NOT MY PROBLEM!"
Highest bidder but choose them based on 2-year warranty offered and (alleged) experienced crew. Unfortunately it would be too lengthy to get into details, but suffice to say if I did not observe the work being done, I would not have been able to raise questions, which averted potential errors.
