It has sure gone downhill. Chicken fried steak was pure breading. Did not eat it. Same with two others at our table. Mashed Potatoes watery and tasteless. Out of 5 tables in the place two others sent their food back. Service was also very slow and not friendly. Used to LOVE this place but i guess all good things must end.....

Very disappointed, our order was given to another couple, their waitress had glasses and a short bobbed hair cut, I asked twice about our order, second time the cashier told me the order was put on the spike, in other words someone else was enjoying it, I told her we were leaving and the cashier did apologize, I told her I saw who she gave our order too, I guess it didn’t matter because she didn’t ask who it was. We drove all the way from Canyon Lake leaving Hungry and very disappointed!!!

9/12/2019 spoiled seafood. When I threw it up in my plate the server already knew it was spoiled along with the manager who ran off and another waiter who commented it was the Pollock. The health department needs to shut this place down. Unfortunately that would mean people would be out of a job. Disgusting restaurant.
Great Chicken Fried Steak and Baked Potato. If you like old diners this is the place! Great pies !!!
I have been going there my entire life, and the food has changed. Quality is way down. Onion rings good but not as flavorful as before. Chicken fried steak had a thicker breading than before with less actual steak, and the trademark yellow gravy is no more. My wife’s mashed potatoes were little more than chopped; undercooked boiled potatoes. Daughter’s Mac and cheese was almost all cheese sauce with very little very mushy pasta.
