With its spacious interiors, a patio with lots of seating, a vegetable garden surrounding the restaurant and a walking path, it’s a delight to visit The Tiny Diner. Favorites include Grass-Fed Beef Burger and Fresh Cut Linguini. Many of the dishes can also be prepared vegan or gluten-free allowing everyone to taste the deliciousness of the food here. Food was mediocre, bacon was undercooked, toast was barely warm and had no butter or jam for it. Had to ask and wait for silverware after our food already came. Service was slow and the staff was working very inefficiently. Why is our waitress putting away clean mugs when two hostesses are standing around talking to each other? We really wanted to like it, but just didn't meet our expectations.
Great burger and homemade fries were delicious as well. And kombucha on tap! I'll be back to enjoy the patio this spring!
Friendly staff, prompt service, good food! This month they're featuring a Chicago themed menu, which looked great, but since I'm a Chicago native I went with a breakfast burrito. I wasn't disappointed!
Great food & wait staff! Can't wait to come back with the kids and eat outside!
I was extremely surprised by the food and the service. The servers were Amazing and friendly. I will come here again.
It was a beautiful day in Minneapolis and we were able to dine in their adorable patio area surrounded by the hay bales where they will plant vegies and herbs to use in their kitchen. Their Ben's Chili (From the DC landmark) had me back on O Street. My daughter had the roasted beet salad, and it was delicious too. We shared their large order of fries and they were crispy to the last one. We also shared their flourless chocolate cake. Thud.
