Patient for about 5 years. First 4 were with a different nurse practioner in her office. Very happy. Then Dr Venetos took over. She's rude while talking to her Nurses, to the point of making me uncomfortable. Rushes through appt. Went in for rash and she removed 3 moles and never addressed my rash, wanted the money for mole removal. She's horrible.
I have been a patient of Dr. Venetos since 2016 and I will no longer go see her. After receiving a diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma in September on my left cheek, I was told that the soonest I would be able to have it removed by a MOHs would be in December. Great experience from start to finish. First of all, no waiting. Great change from the last dermo I saw in this area. The entire staff took the time to conduct my skin exam since I have a history of skin cancers. Spent time to explain what was seen and what would be done, including options for future treatment. No upselling of cosmetic procedure. Polite and professional in the entire office.
Terrific experience from start to finish - first of all there is virtually no waiting until they bring you back and you see the doctor - refreshing after the last dermo I saw in this town had you waiting over an hour before you even went back in a overcrowded waiting room ad get about 5 minutes. Everyone at this practice is top notch and pleasant. Couln't be more happy after my visit
Dr Venetos has a terribly bad attitude. Very rushed. Might be too greedy by booking too many appointments to make money then making patients wait and wait. Manner are pushy and know it all attitude. Does not listen and jumps to liquid nitrogen as answer to all. She may have issues with men as patients because women rank her better. They do cosmetic stuff mostly so if you have straight medical issue - find a more serious doctor who is more careful and caring.
I started seeing Dr. Venetos in 2017. I have seen her 5-6 times and have always been impressed with the service, professionalism, knowledge and quality of care received by her and her staff. I appreciate her knowledge of insurance and prescription costs and the alternatives she offers to minimize my out-of-pocket costs on dermatology prescriptions.
Such a friendly and professional office. Knowledgable and caring staff which starts from the top, Dr. Venetos herself. Highly recommend.
Doesn’t spend nearly enough time with patients, especially after they wait for extended periods of time for their appointment. Her get in, get out approach is preceived as lack of genuine concern for her clientele. Would recommend other options, if available
My teenage son saw Dr. Venetos for a body mole check and she barely spent 5 minutes with him. They asked which moles we wanted checked and never checked the whole body just the ones of our concern. No instruments were used to check these moles just her bare eye to know if they need to be removed. Went 3 times, 2nd visit was to remove 1 mole, last visit was to remove stiches. Will never return. No bedside manners felt like they rush through all our 3 visits.
