A colleague walked into our meeting a few weeks ago with the Gold Fish Tea Traveler and Cloud Catcher Fruit Tea. I was on a mission to visit this place and finally had time today! I was not disappointed. Bought a sample pack to bring home and bought a 12 oz of their Tiger Eye Chai right there and it was amazing! Made the black currant when I got home and DELICIOUS! The variety of teas and customer service will bring me back, probably too often for my pocketbook! :)
I was so excited to find a quality tea store when we were visiting Raleigh, and it's even better to know that they can ship! The staff was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely helpful. My wife and I spent over an hour in there and it was absolute heaven. We had a lot of questions and were looking for specific things, not only did they deliver what we wanted, but were also able to make recommendations on flavor profiles for future purchases. I've enjoyed Tin Roof Teas for a few years now. On Tuesday, I had a friend that was down in Raleigh for a visit and we made a stop at Tin Roof. She was looking for a chai tea similar to one that she had purchased previously at a shop in Williamsburg, but wasn't able to get back there to get more. She found one that was close, but was still missing one component.
