Dr. Laufer always has time for me and pays close attention to what I tell him. My previous doctor retired and I am so glad I got in with Dr. Laufer! He's considerate and kid and always treats me with consideration.
He basically told me I was depressed, nothing was wrong with me, and I didn't have enough faith in doctors. I took the antidepressants he said would help for 8 months and they did absolutely nothing. My new doctor told me to stop taking them since I don't need them, because my problem was never depression.
Dr Laufer is very engaging and interested in his patients. Always enjoy seeing him even if sick or injured!
Dr Laufer is an excellent doctor. I have used Medical Park several times as a walk-in patient when Dr Laufer wasn't available. I have found all the doctors on staff are very competent, thorough, and easy to talk to.
Don’t make an appointment unless you have lots of time to kill waiting to be seen.
Extremely thorough. Explains why and how in simple terms and thinks outside the box. Dr Laufer solved a chronic problem by considering something I had mentioned in passing but on the flip side his thorough approach has him consistently 45 minutes late by the afternoon appointment so be patient. It will be worth it. He is truly in medicine to help the patient.
