I went to the ER because of extreme pain in my abdomen. It had been eleven days post surgery and I was frightened. The staff helped reassure me and my husband, from the friendly and efficient registration person to knowledgeable triage team, kind phlebotomist, warm nurse, patient residents, skilled x-ray technicians, and great doctors. My husband’s visit to the ER at Loyola University Medical Center was a wonderful experience (if a visit can be wonderful).All of the staff that treated him , including Dr. Murray, were caring and compassionate, and did everything necessary to diagnose his problem.
